Attorney General Pam Bondi has vowed to release a second list of names flown by convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein to his private island, on Thursday, February 27.
Why It Matters
A judge ordered some of the flight logs to be released in January, 2024, but the full record of those who travelled with disgraced financier has never been released.
Newsweek sought email comment on Thursday from attorneys for Bill Clinton and Donald Trump.

What To Know
Epstein was known to entertain famous people on his island, Little St. James, in the U.S Virgin Islands. He would often fly people to the island on his private jet, leaving a written record of who travelled there.
Ninety names have been unsealed from a lawsuit filed by Virginia Giuffre, an alleged trafficking victim, against British socialite Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein’s former girlfriend. Maxwell, 61, is serving a 20-year prison sentence after she was convicted in December 2021 of helping Epstein recruit and sexually abuse underage girls.
Financier Epstein, who was accused of preying on underage girls as young as 14, took his own life at the age of 66 in a jail cell at New York’s Metropolitan Correctional Center in August 2019, before he could stand trial in Manhattan on sex-trafficking charges. Authorities determined he hanged himself. He always denied any wrongdoing.
At the time, he was already a convicted sex offender after being found guilty by a Florida state court in 2008 of one count of soliciting prostitution and one count of soliciting prostitution from a minor.
Names appearing in the flight logs released in January, 2024, are no indication of wrongdoing. The vast majority are believed to have been on Epstein’s island for legitimate business, social or political reasons.
New York federal judge Loretta Preska found no legal justification for continuing to withhold the names and ordered their release.
The names include presidents Bill Clinton and Donald Trump, who strenuously deny any wrongdoing. Four of the names released were redacted because they are the name of alleged victims who travelled on Epstein’s private jet.

What People Are Saying
On February 26, Attorney General Pam Bondi told Fox News’ Jesse Watters that her office would release the full list as soon as they had redacted the names of alleged victims.
“We have to make sure that their identity is protected and their personal information,” she said. “Other than that, I think tomorrow, Jesse, breaking news right now, you’re going to see some Epstein information being released by my office.”
What Happens Next
Bondi’s office will release the list on Thursday, but inclusion on the list is not an indication of any wrongdoing.
Lawsuits against Maxwell and others are continuing before the civil courts.
